Tolerância a Estresses Bióticos e Abióticos em Plantas: O Desafio do Século 21

On the behalf of the International Advanced Biology Consortium (CIBA), the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa, Brazil), through the National Research Centers for Cassava and Fruits (CNPMF, Brazil) and Genetic Resources and Biotecnology (Cenargen, Brazil), the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC, Brazil), the Centre de Coopération Internationale en Recherche Agronomique pour le Développement (Cirad, France) and the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD, France) are organizing the CIBA 2013 Workshop on Biotic and Abiotic Stress Tolerance in Plants: the Challenge for the 21st Century.
The event will be held from November 6th to 8th, 2013 in the Canabrava Resort, in Ilhéus (Bahia, Brazil).

This is an international and multidisciplinary event that will include many talks from national and international renowned researchers in the fields of Plant Breeding and Plant Physiology. The target audience, of approximately 200 participants among researchers, undergraduate and graduate students and professionals in the area, will have access to most recent information on the topic “biotic and abiotic stress in cultivated plants”, providing an unique opportunity for debate and discussion in order to broaden and best direct their research.
